The Russian goalkeeper has spent most of his career in North America since coming to the USHL (where he scored a goal) as a teenager. He has the kind of height NHL teams want but needs to fill out and get stronger in order to earn regular minutes at the highest level. His quick reflexes and willingness to challenge shooters are pluses, and he also tracks pucks well.
