Scouting Report
Owns excellent size and physicality, making him an excellent shutdown candidate. Is a team-first player with leadership qualities and tremendous pedigree (his grandfather Don was a great defensive forward in the NHL). Needs to work on improving his so-so skating stride in order to maximize his shutdown upside at the National Hockey League level. Also lacks a true offensive dimension to his game, which might limit his ice time.
Long Range Potential: Big, shutdown defenseman with some upside.
