Demko (undisclosed) will be out Tuesday at home against the Predators for Game 2 of the Western Conference Quarterfinals and possibly for the rest of the series, per Rick Dhaliwal of CHEK television.
Demko was the first goalie off the ice at the morning skate, according to Thomas Drance of The Athletic, indicating will he patrol the home crease Sunday in Game 1 against Nashville.
The big goaltender continues to mature physically and technically. His movement from side to side has improved, and he has developed a much better handle on dealing with the pace of play in the NHL. Also, he does a good job of quickly resetting after allowing a goal on a shot he feels he could have stopped. Is not satisfied with just being good and keeps working to improve himself.
Long Range Potential: Top-level, workhorse goaltender.
