The next-to-last pick in the 2003 NHL Draft has won more than 250 games and has settled into his role as a mid-30s veteran backup who can mentor younger 'tenders. Plays a butterfly style, is still quick on his skates, and is calm and efficient in the crease. Remains capable of stealing games and going on hot streaks, especially if he is not overworked. Is not proactive with his stick and only a fair puck handler. Could stand to challenge shooters more.
Long Range Potential: Veteran backup goaltender.
