Mike Kaye of The Charlotte ObserverMoore has signed a one-year contract with the Panthers, Mike Kaye of The Charlotte Observer reports.
Moore caught one of two targets for 19 yards in Friday night's 34-9 preseason win over the Steelers.
Was lightly scouted as a small college gem with a pro-sized frame and breakaway speed in the open field. Is quite explosive with the ball in his hands; his muscular build overpowers and boxes out smaller defenders, and he will turn routine mid-level catches into gash plays. Flashes legitimate sprinter speed, indicating home run potential. Lacks refinement and deception in running routes; he must work on making sharper breaks to create better separation. Continues to adapt to a level of competition in the NFL that is light years ahead of his college experience.
Long Range Potential: Solid, playmaking wide receiver.
