Williams noted Wednesday that he's "on schedule" in his recovery from knee surgery and expects to be ready for the start of the 2024 season, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.
Williams is set to sign a one-year deal with the Jets, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Has proven he can be a go-to, high-volume receiver. Has superb height for the pro wideout position. Also possesses a powerful frame, and is strong enough to not get locked up by defensive backs or jammed regularly at the line of scrimmage. His foot speed is only average, and he lacks ideal leaping ability for a go-to guy. As well, his pure foot quickness is a question mark, as is his lateral movement.
