Williams is in line to lead the Saints backfield Sunday versus the Falcons with Alvin Kamara (ankle) inactive.
Williams (groin) rushed eight times for 24 yards and caught his only target for two yards in Sunday's 24-6 win over the Giants.
Was an excellent producer as a feature back in college. Proved capable of thriving under heavy use and compiling elite yardage totals as a determined, straight-ahead runner. Possesses the physical strength, toughness and durability for the pro game. Is not elusive nor particularly instinctive. Tends to overrun his blockers instead of patiently waiting for holes. His average receiving skills are somewhat limiting. Lacks an extra gear to extend plays.
Long Range Potential: Quality, rotational running back with upside.
