The Panthers have agreed to terms with Jewell, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Scouting Report
A tackling machine who is always around the play. Also gets more than his share of sacks. A fantastic pass defender too and can shut down receivers. Will pick off passes too. Has big hands for a linebacker. Above-average in the footwork and agility departments. Not ideally bulky for a pro linebacker. Lacks foot speed for a pro linebacker. Can add some strength and muscle to his frame.
Long Range Potential: Linebacker with star tools.
