The veteran tight end has spent a lot of time battling major injuries, including a unique form of hip surgery that is usually more common for athletes in other sports. Before the injury, he was regarded as someone who could be a playmaker; he offers size and catching ability from the tight end position. No one questions his work ethic or drive, but injuries may end his career before he has a chance to make an impression.
