The Toronto Blue Jays acquired pitcher Jeremy Beasley from the Arizona Diamondbacks for cash.

What does it give the Toronto Blue Jays
In Beasley, the Blue Jays land a 25-year-old right-hander with starting experience in the minor leagues. Toronto is desperate for pitching, so he is likely to be given an opportunity to further develop as a starter in Toronto's system. He may even get a chance with the big-league squad later on this summer.

What does it give the Arizona Diamondbacks
The Diamondbacks recently decided to designate Beasley for assignment. Therefore, it makes sense that they dealt him to Toronto for cash. He made one appearance with Arizona in a relief role last season, but clearly he was not in their long-term plans. So, they did well to at least get some cash back.

Fantasy impact
Beasley might get a better opportunity with the Blue Jays moving forward. However, for now he can be safely ignored in most fantasy leagues.
