The New York Yankees acquired infielder Rougned Odor from the Texas Rangers for outfielders Antonio Cabello and Josh Stowers.

The Yankees are taking a flier here on Odor, still only 27 years of age. He was at one time a very good offensive infielder, so perhaps a change of scenery will help him rediscover past form.
What does it give the Texas Rangers
The Rangers designated Odor for assignment after he failed to make the club out of spring training. So, they sent him to the Yankees for two outfield prospects, though they will pay most of Odor's salary.
