Tomkins was the first goalie to exit the ice Wednesday, indicating he'll be between the home pipes versus Toronto, Mark Masters of TSN reports.
Tomkins will make his home debut as a member of the Lightning on Thursday against Ottawa, per Erik Erlendsson of LightningInsider.com.
Has decent size for the goaltending position, although he could stand to add more bulk to his frame. A journeyman, he has logged a lot of miles to wind up in the big league. At lower levels, he can dominate a hockey game. Works very hard at improving his craft and is a very good teammate. Is only average in terms of overall puck-stopping talent.
Long Range Potential: Depth goaltender.
