Had great size (6'3", 215 pounds) for the National Hockey League game and good skating acumen. Displayed all-around ability at lower levels. Lacked some hockey sense and refinement to his overall game. Did not always make the most of his talent. Lacked offensive flair and did not always use his size enough.
