Scouting Report
He never lived up to his status as a first-round draft pick (No. 20 overall in 2008), but he was a useful defenseman because of his skating ability. Knew how to move the puck. His defensive-zone coverage was not optimal and he could be a little careless with the puck, especially earlier in his NHL career. Overall, he was serviceable at the highest level.
Long Range Potential: Mobile depth defenseman.
