Scouting Report
Is at his best when used in a shutdown role. Has good size, mobility and the ability to limit the damage from the back end. He can log huge minutes with relative ease. Is strong with the puck in his own end. Does not always use his 6-3, 217-pound frame enough to keep elite NHL forwards more honest. Must also continue to work on his shot from the point, as he is a limited offensive player at the highest level.
Long Range Potential: Big-minute, shutdown defenseman.
