Was tenacious on the forecheck. Displayed the feistiness to play well in traffic and in the corners. Could score goals in bunches and provided a ton of energy for his team. Injuries played a role throughout his career because of his lack of size, plus his rambunctious style of play. Was not consistent enough to play a top-six winger role in the NHL.
