Scouting Report
With great size, he had the physical toughness teams love. Was a willing combatant and always a team-first player. Was fairly steady in the defensive zone when he was on top of his game. Did not have a lot of offensive ability, especially at the NHL level. Was prone to making mistakes when he had the puck on his stick. Took bad penalties on occasion. Worked very hard to become a regular at the highest level; he overachieved in a big way after beginning his career as a strict enforcer.
Long Range Potential: Physical defenseman and natural leader.
