His father Martin was a longtime performer in the DEL, while uncle Robert made a name for himself at the NHL level. He has his uncle's finishing ability but is even more adept at getting to the prime scoring areas due to a superior skating stride. Was already a DEL regular at age 17, which bodes well for his future. Is not much of a playmaker but he defends his wing well and is prolific in the goal-scoring department. Needs to become stronger to maximize production in the National Hockey League.
