Skates incredibly well and can lug the puck up the ice with aplomb. Can create havoc for opposing defenses when he jumps up into the play. Also, his offensive instincts and overall hockey sense are outstanding. Lacks ideal size for a National Hockey League defenseman, so he must add bulk and prove he can handle bigger forwards at the highest level. Also, he needs to learn when to rush up ice (and when to stay back).
