Owns impressive size (6-2, 209 pounds) for the National Hockey League level, plus the physicality to utilize his gifts effectively. Keeps things simple in the defensive zone and is somewhat trustworthy. Does not have a ton of offensive ability, so he must focus fully on becoming a competent shutdown defender at the highest level. Could stand to play a more consistent game (in all facets of hockey).
