Has good size for the National Hockey League and a real nose for the net. Owns soft hands and solid offensive instincts. Can both score goals and set up teammates, and he is an asset on the power play. His defensive play leaves a little to be desired, but his ice time will always depend on his ability to put up points at the highest level. Could stand to add more bulk to his big frame. Flies a bit under the radar as a late-blooming offensive talent.
