Formenton (personal) has been directed to surrender to London, Ontario police to be charged with sexual assault in connection with an alleged incident that occurred during a 2018 Hockey Canada event, TSN reports.
Formenton was granted a leave of absence from Swiss club Ambri Piotta on Wednesday.
The speedy skater can play up and down the lineup. Combine that with his skill and he can make an impact offensively. He is still trying to find the scoring touch he showed at lower levels now that he is in the NHL. His height (6’2”) is projectable, but he will have to get a lot stronger to make a major impact at the NHL level.
