Plays with both poise and confidence whenever he has the puck on his stick. Can produce very good offensive totals and is at his best when quarterbacking the power play. Is a bit of a late-blooming talent. Is quite undersized for the professional game, so he will need to add significant bulk and strength to prove capable of defending against bigger, better NHL forwards. Could stand to become more consistent.
