Allison was traded to Nashville from Philadelphia in exchange for Denis Gurianov on Friday, according to Pierre LeBrun of The Athletic.
Scouting Report
Owns great size and strength, which he uses effectively around the opposing net. Skates well for his size and forechecks with aplomb. Can score goals and be a punishing physical presence. Like a lot of bigger forwards, he needed a little extra development time because he was a lot bigger than he was refined as a prospect. Must continue to work on his defensive-zone coverage. Injuries are a problem for him.
