Clifton picked up two assists while adding four hits, two shots on net, a blocked shot and a plus-5 rating in Thursday's 9-3 rout of the Maple Leafs.
Scouting Report
Entering his prime, he has yet to show the kind of offensive skills he demonstrated at lower levels. Can move the puck well and has a decent shot. Is fairly useful within his limits but still trying to prove he can hold a regular spot among a team’s top-six defensemen at the highest level.
Long Range Potential: Mobile depth defenseman.
