Was a highly aggressive specimen and he was very quick to the ball carrier. Read the action well and lined up his targets for big hits. A hard worker on and off the field, he was a high-motor, high-character type who would give his all. Only had average size and speed, which somewhat limited him in the secondary. Struggled at times in man-to-man coverage. Was also not much of a blitzer. Had trouble staying healthy during his NFL career.
