He brought a rare mix of size, speed and athleticism to the pro backfield. Could make defenders miss, and had the power, moves and acceleration to break tackles and put himself in the weekly highlights on a regular basis. Did a nice job as a receiver as well. Didn't live up to his fantastic physical tools, and often lacked the game-to-game consistent excellence his athletic gifts warranted. He also ran too upright at times, making himself too big a target for tacklers. Had some character and health issues. Was additionally a mediocre blocker in pass protection.
