Was consistent, with excellent hands. He was tough and could beat jams at the line of scrimmage. Caught the ball well in traffic. Was effective on short routes and could generate a little yardage after the catch. Was not a big-play receiver by any stretch of the imagination. Lacked long speed and was not overly big, either. Was a bit injury-prone and could disappear at times. Was not much of a factor in the end zone.
