A big hitter and a physical playmaker. Excels pressing close to the line, and handles short zones well. Anticipates impressively and gets a good jump on the ball. A good force and run support defender. Lacks top range in deep zones. Not an instictive player: still has problems at times guessing correctly on offenses and will bite on some fake plays. Tends to wear down at times.
