Scouting Report
Was both accurate and dependable on field goals up to 40 yards. Employed strong technique, and added value with his solid ability and precision handling kickoffs. Proved equally effective kicking either in domed stadiums or outdoors. Lost some zip and reliability with age, especially from over 40 yards. Didn't possess the strongest leg in the business to start with, a factor that hurt him on kickoffs too. Seemed to lose focus at times and would miss the odd extra point.
