Scouting Report
A smart signal-caller and solid decision-maker, he was the consummate 'West Coast Offense' quarterback. Very accurate, he boasted outstanding touch and timing. Moved and slid well in the pocket, and could run a little. Was consistent and a team-first player. Was not a great deep passer, or the type of quarterback who could take over a game by himself. Became somewhat fragile in terms of durability over time. Should have better protected the football, and generally did not scramble well.
Long Range Potential: Quality quarterback.
