The Panthers and Robinson have agreed to terms on a three-year, $22.5 million contract, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
Can be a powerhouse in the middle of the D-line. A real pocket pusher who's constantly commanding double teams due to his size, length, strength, and explosive power. Stout, and does a great job stuffing the run. Regularly manhandles man-on-man assignments, doing a nice job stacking and shedding then laying the lumber. High-motor and athletic. Some blockers can get under his pads and stand him up, neutralizing his forward push. Has the agility to show more lateral movement and adjustment but too often loses his forward push after an explosive first step. Can be more of a technician and learn to get better leverage.
Long Range Potential: Run-stuffing nose tackle / end with Pro Bowl talent.
