Shepherd agreed Wednesday with the Saints on a three-year, $15 million contract, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Scouting Report
Brings the bulk to line up as a 3-4 D-lineman and draw double teams. His large hands are a definite asset in the trenches. His wingspan is not particularly long, limiting him against some opponents (especially against mammoth offensive linemen).
Long Range Potential: Rotational defensive lineman / nose tackle, with upside.
