A physical coverage guy who uses his size well to make plays on both his man and the ball. Regularly uses his good reach to disrupt pass plays in open space, and is a consistent and productive tackler. Has good size and enough speed for all one-one-one matchups and is very focused and hard-nosed. Able to pick off errant passes capably. Could be more patient and fluid in pass coverage, as he sometimes doesn't give enough of a cushion and will get burned. While a very good run defender he's not really a major factor on the safety blitz (surprising considering how aggressive his game is).
