Well-sized, he's a solid athlete with a great arm (he played minor league baseball as a pitcher). Possesses an effortless throwing motion with a crisp release. Sees the field well and has a calm demeanor in the pocket. Can really make plays happen if well protected. Is a late-bloomer and a one-dimensional quarterback. His lack of ideal mobility is worrisome; can't make plays on the run and isn't a scrambler at all. Also tends to hang on to the ball too long and to force the ball in traffic. Needs to prove himself at several levels.
