Terrific athletically, he possessed speed, burst, quickness and fluidity. A former wide receiver in his formative years, he did whatever it took to gain yardage. Could also serve as a return man, if required. Was not a polished route runner and did not play a very physical game, which made him a limited option as a tight end at the NFL level (especially since he was undersized in that role).
