Was strong, quick and explosive off the snap. Excelled when using his powerful low center of gravity and strong arms to burst through the line and pick up the ball carrier (either the running back or quarterback). Lacked both height and speed. Learned how to use body and overall skills to his advantage at the NFL level. Could play anywhere along the defensive line, and was a disruptive force from anywhere.
