Scouting Report
A classic big defensive end (perfectly suited for a 3-4 scheme), he brought a tall frame, a huge wingspan, excellent power and good athleticism to the defensive line. Had the mobility to play end and the size and tackling ability to move inside. Could bat down passes due to his height. Was rather strong and quick, with the ability to pile up sacks. Despite his athleticism, he relied mostly on his strength to get the job done. His pass-rushing tools were a little unrefined for the NFL level. Got a little high in his stance at times, which hurt his leverage and lower-body technique against stout blockers.
Long Range Potential: Quality interior defensive lineman.
