An accomplished and relentless grinder with championship pedigree, he thrived as part of a backfield rotation; he can go all out when alternating series within a committee. Possessed the jump and toughness to exploit inside running lanes. Also, he was a true workhorse in the short passing game; he amassed yardage on screens and checkdowns with aplomb. Was extremely durable (he rarely missed a game), secured the ball and was terrific near the goal line. Did not own ideal size for every down duty; he was not a power runner or lead back by any means.
