Had a high motor and was very energetic, with the ability to play several linebacker positions. Was a decent tackler who played sideline to sideline and had enough explosiveness to rush off the edge. Played bigger than his size thanks to a nice wingspan and big hands. Had some value on special teams, as well. Was undersized for a pass-rusher. Despite good intensity, capable strength and solid speed, he was limited in pass-coverage situations due to a lack of fluidity in space. Unfortunately, he never really found his niche at the National Football League level.
