Scouting Report
Was versatile in the secondary and could line up at either safety or cornerback (as needed). Was very aware on the field, always around the ball carrier, and a hard hitter. Used his solid frame and above-average speed to regularly make wrap-up tackles, too. Never fully rounded out his game to do more on the field, especially in terms of the secondary blitz. Was a bit undersized for a big-hitting safety. Also did not manage as many interceptions later on in his NFL career.
Long Range Potential: Versatile, quality defensive back.
