Had a live arm and the ability to pitch as either a starter or reliever in the minor leagues, which added value to big-league teams. Could strike batters out regularly in the minors. Could be a bit too wild at times, even in the minor leagues, and could have used better control and command of his arsenal to maximize output in Major League Baseball.
