Scouting Report
Owned a big shortstop arm, and had great range and defensive skills. In fact, he was among the best defenders in the game. At the plate, his bat control and ability to make consistent contact stood out. Despite his 6'2" frame, he was never a great power hitter nor run producer at the big-league level. Also, he was not an efficient base stealer in MLB.
Long Range Potential: Quality infielder with great defensive instincts.
