Singleton will start at first base and bat sixth in Wednesday's game against the Blue Jays, Matt Kawahara of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Singleton is on the Astros' roster for the ALDS, Chandler Rome of The Athletic reports.
Has a great bat with big-time power and run-producing ability. Is a perfect target at first base at 6-2, 230 pounds. Is also a sneaky baserunner, capable of stealing a few bases here and there. Must keep the strikeouts total down in order to maximize output with the stick (at all levels). Must also cut down on his number of errors with the glove, since he is a little below-average.
Long Range Potential: Inconsistent first baseman.
