Joseph signed a minor league contract with the Nationals on Sunday, Chelsea Janes of the Washington Post reports.
Scouting Report
Has pretty good pop in his bat, and he also draws walks at a solid clip. Does not strike out much, either. His left-handed bat is an asset off the bench. Does not hit well enough, in particular against left-handed pitching, to see regular at-bats at the big-league level. Lacks speed and ideal size, as well.
Long Range Potential: Depth infielder.
