Ngoepe was placed on the 7-day minor-league disabled list Thursday with a left hamstring strain.
Scouting Report
Is an excellent athlete with very good defensive instincts, capable of playing both middle infield positions. Runs very well, too, making him a table-setting option at lower levels. Needs to cut down on his number of strikeouts in order to maximize output in Major League Baseball. Is especially vulnerable with breaking pitches. Must steal more bases.
Long Range Potential: Athletic infielder.
