Has a fantastic bat: hits for near-elite power while showing superb patience and a great eye for contact. A good RBI producer, he also runs the bases well and is a smart player overall. Is mildly injury-prone. Strikes out a little too much. Makes his share of errors at first base. Lacks consistency. At times, he gets frustrated with the lack of good pitches he sees.
