Scouting Report
Could hit anything thrown to him for doubles and homers, while making great contact. Was gifted athletically and owned a powerful swing. A prolific producer, he was also fast enough to regularly steal bases. Was not a top-tier defender (although he had a superb throwing arm) and was a bit raw in the outfield. Had a tendency to strike out a bit too much. Injuries and a performance-enhancing drug issue were also problems during his career. Played all four corner positions at one point in his MLB career.
Long Range Potential: Outstanding hitter and run producer (when healthy).
