Scouting Report
Displayed the ability to hit for average at minor-league levels. Was ideally built for the catching position. His defense was major-league caliber. Did not show the ability to hit for power, so he was more of a backup catcher. Also lacked consistency with the stick, in terms of hitting for a solid batting average. At times he struggled defensively in the big leagues.
Long Range Potential: Depth catcher.
