Scouting Report
Was very athletic for a catcher. Was also intense and focused at the plate. Hit for average, while taking a lot of bases on balls. Could steal a few bases, too. Called a great game behind the dish and was a leader. Could be too streaky both at the plate and behind it (especially in terms of home-run power and when trying to throw out base stealers). Was not a very efficient base runner. His body wore down towards the end of his playing career in MLB.
Long Range Potential: Quality, athletic catcher.
